This is a true store from when I was sixteen. When I turned sixteen I decided to get a job at the local pharmacy. I knew nappies went on babies but hadn’t really stopped to think about elderly adults who lose their bladder control. A customer came into the store and appeared to be lost so I asked him if I could help find any product. The man’s face turned bright red and he asked me where the nappy section of the shop was and so I showed him the baby section. This face turned even brighter red and he asked for adult nappy. I wasn’t sure what he meant as I never had experience with adult nappies so I asked my boss about it. My boss had to explain it to me that some adults need nappies when they lose their ability to hold it and my boss showed me where they kept. I think my face was red for the rest of the day!
